How do copper compression socks help those who work on their feet all day?

If you have a job where you are on your feet for the most part of the day, you will be prone to aches, soreness and infections. At times, it may get so excruciating that you are unable to move at the end of a long day.

Thanks to copper compression socks, you can get through such days without any soreness or aches.

6 reasons to use copper socks for relieving foot problems

  • Prevents soreness

Being on your feet all day long can be painful and exhausting. At the end of the day, you go home with sore feet.

Copper compression socks provide light compression. This helps in regulating the intravenous blood flow. It also helps increase oxygen and blood circulation to the feet.

It reduces the chances of lactic acid building up in the muscles, which is the main cause of soreness.

  • Reduces swelling and aches

Do you have a 12-hour shift, most of which is spent standing? Then you must be familiar with swollen and aching feet.

Compression socks offer the healing benefits of copper. Its anti-inflammatory properties help in soothing your muscles and aching feet.

Copper socks help in easing skin inflammation and providing pain relief.

  • Prevents the occurrence of varicose veins

Varicose veins are a result of improper functioning of the valves in your feet which lets the blood flow upwards to the heart.

If the standing job is affecting your occupational health, switch to copper socks immediately. Excessive stress weakens the valves over time and the blood will start pooling at the feet. Compression socks help in relieving the discomfort caused by varicose veins.

  • Reduces sweat and odor build-up

Bad foot odor is a common problem people face when they have to stand all day at work. Sweat doesn’t have any odor of its own but when combined with heat, it provides a natural breeding ground for bacteria. This leads to a foul smell.

Copper socks are made from moisture wicking fabric, which means that your feet will stay dry and cool all day. Copper is self-sterilizing and can be washed less often. Your feet will remain odor-free even if you wear the socks for many days consecutively.

The anti-bacterial properties of copper keep the sweat and odor-causing bacteria at bay. This increases occupational hygiene and prevents foul odor of sweaty feet.

  • Improves blood circulation

Copper promotes the formation of new blood vessels from pre-existing vessels.

When it is combined with compression socks, it helps in treating deep vein thrombosis (DVT), venous eczema, edema and similar issues caused due to poor blood flow.

  • Quicker recovery from injury

Industrial health and safety are prioritized in every company. If you suffered a foot injury at work and neglect it, it could lead to infections or serious problems.

It is important to heal the feet and legs after an injury. You need to keep the injured area dry, clean and germ-free. Copper socks tick all those boxes. They are effective in fighting itchy skin, fungal and bacterial infections, foot ulcers and other foot ailments.

Since copper socks improve the circulation and keep the feet dry, you can recover quickly from an injury.

Copper socks are essential for worker health. If you suffer from any foot ailments or bad foot odor at work, get those copper socks in your sock drawer already!
